At the request of the Town of Normandy, The Best Defense Foundation, and Delta Airlines, The Sound of Dutchtown, under the direction of Adrian Jermaine Adams, was the chosen marching ensemble to participate in the 79th Commemoration of D-Day and Events. The Band toured and performed in Normandy, Paris, Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches-les-Baines, Mont Saint Michel, and the Louvre Museum.
